"The term of office of the new board of directors begins with good vibes. The former board of directors, IAB's office and, above all, the numerous volunteers in the workgroups, have created a strong foundation for IAB's work. Our business is growing at a good pace. Local actors need to cooperate more closely to ensure a large part of their growth remains in the local market. For this co-operation, IAB provides a solid foundation, uniting both buyers and sellers of advertising and marketing agents ", says Petri Kokkonen.

New work groups and a new look for 2019

Next year, there will be paid and free seminars, guides and publications as well as training for native advertising, marketing technology and programmatic buying. Certification programs for digital marketers and digital vendors as well as IDM's digital marketing’s international training will continue to grow.

Beginning of year 2019 IAB Finland's site and visual look will be renewed and they will start implementing renewed marketing communications with their partner Storybound. More in-depth and extensive content, targeted to members only, adds more value to the membership.

Workgroups that continue operating are privacy, video advertising, programmatic buying, marketing technology, ad spend, content marketing, and viewability. New workgroups to start are groups for creativity and digital audio.
